Moon Deer Cacao nurtures exceptional Taiwan-grown cacao beans through eco-friendly cultivation. Emphasizing single-estate sourcing and small-batch processing, we preserve the purest terroir of dark chocolate. Every single bean is meticulously fermented, roasted, and stone-ground by hand, transforming into artisanal dark chocolate that boasts the natural, complex layers of a fine pour-over coffee.
Partnering with local cacao farmers in Pingtung, Kaohsiung, and Nantou, we craft estate-grade chocolate that highlights the distinct regional flavor profiles of Taiwan. Driven by a commitment to sustainability, our creations are mindfully wrapped in plastic-free recycled paper, printed in collaboration with local artisans to honor the harmony between nature and humanity.
To date, Moon Deer Cacao has proudly garnered over 10 prestigious awards at both the International Chocolate Awards (ICA) and the Academy of Chocolate (AOC).
